Steph McGovern's new Channel 4 offering The Steph Show has been made with widespread praise after she presented her first ever episode from her own home - and in her slippers.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter, 37, apologised for being "a bit rough around the edges" as the coronavirus pandemic forced her to bring the launch of the programme forward rather than waiting to host it in a purpose-built studio in Leeds.
Instead, Steph - like millions around the UK - worked from home and laughed about the state of her kitchen, which she'd scrubbed from top to bottom to get it looking camera ready.
But fans might have noticed one slightly odd thing about her home set-up... namely the contents of her fruit bowl.

As Steph raced around her kitchen to show viewers how they were filming - with five remote cameras rather than risk camerapeople breaking the two-metre social distancing guideline - she revealed her shiny fruit bowl sitting on top of the counter.
Along with the usual suspects - some fresh bananas, a shiny red apple and some oranges - lurked a courgette.
The green culprit appeared to be trying to fit in with the other fruit, rather than getting itself back to the fridge where it belongs.

During her first hour-long show, mum of one Steph interviewed a family of 12 who are locked down at home, a single mum who wanted to know how to balance her finances while being at home, and spoke to Keith Lemon and Anton du Beke over video link.
And viewers loved her relaxed approach to the show, praising her for mixing her personal life with her professional mindset.
She let slip at one point she had "no control" over her baby but admitted she was working hard on establishing a regime now she was working from home.
"I've actually managed to get the baby into a sleeping routine because I'm literally here all the time now," she laughed.

One fan took to Twitter to thank Steph for launching her show during the pandemic, writing: "Very few could carry off a brand new show live from their own home with nobody else in the room. Steph McGovern though is definitely one who can, good stuff."
Another gushed: "Congratulations on your new show Steph, its great to see you back on our screens being amazing as always."
A third said: "Watching your first show Steph, this wouldn't happen if I wasn't working from home, good luck, it will be great and a great success I am sure, your personality can shine on this new show! Take care and stay safe."
And a fourth told her: "Steph you're doing a great job. I'm loving the show. So relaxed but so informative too. I think this should be a permanent show for the future."
