Steph McGovern branded 'dirty stop out' by bosses after wild night with Strictly's Sara Davies

Steph McGovern was branded a 'dirty stop out' by her bosses on Packed Lunch after staying out into the wee small hours with Sara Davies.

Sara is currently on the road with the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, which arrives in Newcastle on Thursday and, as it headed to Leeds earlier this week, former BBC presenter Steph seized the opportunity to catch up with her mate after she came off stage at the First Direct Arena.

Hours after the curtain came down on the Strictly tour' s first show in Leeds, Steph posted a picture of her and Sara, together with judge Craig-Revel Horwood, who is on the panel for the tour alongside Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli.

Steph simply captioned the photo: 'It’s late…"

Sharing it on her own Insta story on Wednesday morning, Dragon's Den star Sara put the blame on Craig, adding 'I daren't even tell you what time I got to bed.'

Steph's Packed Lunch colleagues clearly wind of her late night antics as she uploaded a picture of her script for the day, with 'Dirty Stop Out' written on the top.

Sara, who was still in bed when Packed Lunch came on at lunchtime, told her many followers she was zooming in on the TV to see just how hungover Steph was.

While Steph had to contend with a hangover while presenting a live TV show, admitting 'I was absolutely hanging!' Sara headed out in Leeds city centre in search of a cure, delighting at finding a Greggs and getting her hands on a sausage and bean melt, weeks after their return to the menu was met with a huge reaction.

On Wednesday night, following another show in Leeds, County Durham entrepreneur Sara and the rest of the Strictly tour cast headed up the road to Newcastle and Sara posted a photo of a lit up Tyne Bridge from her hotel room, calling it 'the most beautiful view in the whole country'.

Sara wrote: "Look where we’ve just arrived….. this is the view from my hotel window, in my opinion it’s the most beautiful view in the whole country.

" I can’t wait to perform for ‘my people’ in the show tomorrow….. come on newcastle - let’s have a great one."
