Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis has opened up to fans about her Covid-19 ordeal after being rushed to hospital.
Steph, 28, shared a harrowing update from her hospital bed on Saturday as she updated about how she was feeling on her Instagram.
The mother-of-one, who played Sinead O'Connor in the Channel Four soap until 2019, explained that had been given morphine for the pain.

Sounding dazed the TV star said she was struggling with the pain in her chest which was 'unreal.'

She said: "I've not been well at all.
"I've just had some morphine in an intravenous drip and that's really helped with the pain.
"I've been getting severe pains in my esophagus in my chest. "They say it's indigestion but it's not indigestion because I can't eat anything, I've not eaten anything."
Steph continued: "Even when I have a sip of water the pain is unreal.

"I don't know if it's related or what the f**g is going on."
The actress, who was rushed to hospital on Thursday night, assumes that the pain is linked to her recent positive test and her skin is also painful.
She added: "I'm feeling very spaced out on the morphine so I'm going to go back to sleep, but yeah this has been horrific.
"The pain on my skin ... I couldn't touch my skin and I can't even think straight.

"I just don't know what's going on with this pain.
"The pain is just killing me. The pain is unreal.
"My chest is so bad. Just on some fluids now because I'm dehydrated."
Steph, who has a four-year-old son Caben-Albi, signed off by telling fans she would keep them updated.
"I'm alright, I'll keep yous posted," she concluded.
Steph previously spoke from a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask and explained it felt like she had been 'run over.'
A few days ago Steph, a regular on the Manchester social scene, posted on Instagram after attending a friend's wedding with her new boyfriend.
