Today the mum-of-one updated her fans on her progress and apologised for not being in touch sooner, but said she had been feeling too ill to reply to all her messages.

Sharing a series of videos from her hospital bed Steph said: "I've just had some morphine and that's really helped with the pain.

"I've been getting severe pains in my oesophagus and my chest, it feels like indigestion but it can't be that because I've not eaten anything, even when I have a sip of water, the pain is unreal.

"This has been horrific, the pain in my skin, I couldn't even touch my skin, I can't even think straight now.

"My chest is so bad and my oxygen levels aren't great."

Steph appeared to be almost asleep but continued and said: "I know people are getting lots of different side effects, I just don't know what's going on with this pain in my chest.

"I'm guessing it's all just linked because I've only just had this since all of this pain, It's killing me.

"I'm just on some fluids now because I'm dehydrated, I'm alright, I'll keep you all posted."
