Steph Curry thought it was weird to see his mom cheering for him in Trail Blazers gear

By now everyone knows that Steph Curry and Seth Curry are battling against each other in the Western Conference finals.

It’s the first time two brothers are facing off in such a situation.

Which has put their parents in a tough spot. But as we told you before Game 1, which the Warriors won easily, Dell and Sonya Curry had flipped a coin on who to cheer for. Sonya got Seth and the Trail Blazers while Dell got Steph and the Warriors.

After the game, Steph Curry, who had 36 points and hit 9 3-pointers, talked about the coin flip and how his mom couldn’t help herself as he saw her cheering for him after he hit a shot:

He said:

I caught myself a couple of times looking up at the stands at my parents who did the whole coin flip thing – they can’t help themselves so anytime either one of us did something good they both were clapping, so they gotta fix themselves. I told my mom, ‘Who you with?’ When I made a shot I saw her stand up and cheer but I saw all Portland gear. It was just weird.”

That’s pretty good stuff from Steph, who didn’t hold anything back against his brother’s team in Game 1.
