Steph Curry’s eastern swing takes him to Under Armour, Baltimore

On Monday, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry called a news conference at Howard University in Washington, D.C., to announce a six-year sponsorship that will resurrect the university’s men’s and women’s golf teams.

Two days later, the three-time NBA champion shared via Instagram that he’d enjoyed time in the next stop on his eastern swing: Baltimore.

Curry shared photos on Instagram that show him in a boat looking at the Under Armour offices across the waterway and others that show him spending time with children. In those, Curry can be seen throwing a football, playing hoops and looking at young kids working in what appears to be a computer lab.

Curry, who signed with Under Armour in 2013, praised the company’s growth and expressed excitement for what he and the company are building for the future.

“Thanks to everyone for the hospitality,” Curry wrote.

Baltimore has been criticized recently by President Donald Trump, with Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank coming to the defense of the city his company calls home.
