If you saw Ayesha Curry’s name trending on social media on Wednesday, you eventually figured out it was because a video of her doing the dance known as the “Milly Rock” at the opening of her latest restaurant, International Smoke, in California.
Criticism came from all corners of Twitter, along with defenders, who wondered what was wrong with Curry dancing.
The whole thing was absurd, and that’s what her husband, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, pointed out in an Instagram story he shot in response.
“Slow news day today, I see, huh?” he said. Then, he dunked on everyone: “Just make sure y’all send me the video of you dancing at your own restaurant opening.”
