Steph Curry proved he’s a Finals MVP even if he doesn’t win the award again

One of the weirder storylines heading into the 2019 NBA Finals was how Steph Curry absolutely needed a Finals MVP to cement his legacy.

To me, it didn’t matter that he never won the award even though the argument was that most of the all-time greats had championship MVPs to their name. He’s already proven what he can do without the hardware to back it up and Game 3 was a reminder of that fact.
