Steph Curry passes Ray Allen for most 3-pointers made in Playoff history

Stephen Curry reached a few 3-point milestones during the NBA’s regular season, finishing the year with the 3rd most makes in the history of the NBA.

During his first game of the postseason, Curry has passed Ray Allen for the most 3-pointers made in NBA playoff history.

With his 8th three-pointer made in Game 1 in their series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Curry passed Ray Allen with his 386th postseason make. Allen is at 385 and LeBron James is 3rd all-time with 370 makes.

No. 386 may have been one of the easiest of his career. With the Warriors on a secondary break midway through the 4th quarter, the Clippers defense collapsed with Klay Thompson driving into the paint.

Curry was trailing and stepped into a wide-open 3-pointer, which he promptly drilled.

Curry also has 15 rebounds on the night and is nearing a triple-double with seven assists. it was only a matter of time before Curry passed Allen and made postseason history — and in a few years, he’ll pass Allen for the regular season mark, too.
