Steph Curry passes Chris Mullin to become No. 4 All-Time on Warriors scoring list

Steph Curry scored 17 points in the Warriors 116-102 win over the Denver Nuggets — the exact number he needed to pass up Warriors legend Chris Mullin for No. 4 on the Warriors all-time scoring list.

With 7:23 left to play in the game, Curry came off a high screen and pulled the trigger on a pull-up three from the left wing about five feet beyond the 3-point arc to give him 17 and push the Warriors lead to 105-75.

After passing Mullen, Curry now only trails Paul Arizin, Rick Barry and Wilt Chamberlin. Before the end of the regular season, Curry should catch Arizin as he is only 40 behind with five games left to play.

Both Barry and Chamberlin will be caught by Curry next season. Curry is 241 behind Barry, who he should catch early next season and is 1,547 behind Chamberlain.

Curry has scored at least 1,500 points in every season that he’s played at least 70 games since the 2012-13 season, and if he’s healthy, should pass Chamberlain at some point in the middle of next season.

Check out the play that pushed him over Mullin below.
