Steph Curry on LeBron James’ game winner: ‘I’ve seen it before. About five years ago.’

Steph Curry is normally the one that takes the air out of an entire building with a ridiculously difficult and demoralizing 3-pointer.

He very rarely falls on the wrong end of those. But on Wednesday night against the Lakers, he did.

LeBron James’ absolutely ridiculous game-winning shot from 30 feet beyond the arch had no business going in. But it did. And that ended up being the nail in the coffin for the Warriors’ chance at the 7 seed.

Curry was asked about how it felt to be on the wrong end of a demoralizing shot like that one at the end of the game.

His answer? “I’ve seen it before.”

“I’ve seen it before. About five years ago. I know what’s like. This one was from a little further away so I didn’t feel too bad about it.”

Ouch. He’s talking about Kyrie Irving’s ridiculous game-winner from the 2016 NBA Finals.

Same spot. Same ridiculously difficult type of shot. Same result.

Poor Steph.
