While the Golden State Warriors are in the middle of a four-game road swing, San Francisco’s Chase Center is hosting a March Madness tradition.
For the first time since 1939, San Francisco will host the West’s edition of the Sweet 16 for the men’s basketball NCAA Tournament. Duke, Texas Tech, Gonzaga and Arkansas will meet at Chase Center with a place in the Final Four on the line.
While he’s currently sidelined indefinitely due to a left foot injury, Steph Curry made an appearance at Chase Center to watch the Sweet 16. The two-time Most Valuable Player got to watch the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga fall to No. 4 seed Arkansas in the first game.

In the second leg of San Francisco’s doubleheader, Curry cheered on his brother’s former school Duke against Texas Tech. Coach Krzyzewski and the Blue Devils were able to hold off the Red Raiders to secure a spot in the Elite Eight against the Razorbacks.

To complete Chase Center’s March Madness run, Arkansas will meet Duke at Chase Center on Saturday at 5:49 p.m. PT.
