Steph Curry has the highest offensive rating of all players in the NBA playoffs

The first three games of the Warriors first-round matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers have been nothing if not entertaining. We’ve seen multiple technical fouls, a pair of ejections, some jab-throwing through the media and a 31-point comeback.

While Kevin Durant was able to finally go off in Game 3 of the series, the lone constant on the offensive end of the floor has been Stephen Curry. Curry is fourth in the NBA in postseason scoring at 29.3 per contest, but he’s been an incredible offensive force in pretty much every advanced metric.

According to Basketball-Reference, Curry is leading all players in true shooting percentage, effective field goal percentage and offensive rating.

The first two metrics measure how efficient a player is as a shooter while offensive rating measures how many points a player would score per 100 possessions.

Curry absolutely went off in Game 1 with 38 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists. He’s shooing 57.8 from the field and 58.6 percent from deep on nearly 10 attempts through three games. There’s still a lot of playoff basketball left, but Curry is off to the best postseason start of his career.
