Steph Curry has been nominated for a Webby Award

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has increasingly built his entertainment brand in recent years and, now, he is being recognized.

It was was announced today that Curry has been nominated for a Webby Award in the Best Web Personality/Host category for work on his YouTube series 5 Minutes from Home.

First of all, the cameras love the three-time NBA champion so, of course, his nomination would come in a category in which he seems to thrive quite naturally. But the nomination means more exposure for 5 Minutes from Home, too, and his Unanimous Media, which produces it.

Often fun-loving and hilarious, the web series features guests Curry presumably wants to get to know better and the episodes broach subjects of substance, such as gender inequity in sports with guest Riley Morrison, the portrayal of women in entertainment (especially rap and hip-hop) with the late Nipsey Hussle and city politics with the mayor of Oakland, Calif.

For those who are into esports and/or have designs on becoming a YouTube star, Curry has episodes on those topics as well.
