It was only a matter of time for Steph Curry.
On Tuesday, Curry became the NBA’s all-time career three-point leader after nailing No. 2974 against the New York Knicks with previous record holder Ray Allen in the house. It’s a moment that was long-coming for Curry, who put back the record-leading three in his 789th career NBA game, a blistering pace considering Allen hit that mark in 1,300 games less than 10 years ago.
Though Curry was not able to break the record in front of his home Golden State Warriors fans, the Knicks were kind enough to stop the game to celebrate NBA history being made by one of the greats,

Curry has always made threes look effortless, so much so that he’s put back at least one in 152 consecutive games. What a wonderful way to set history and here’s to more greatness from Curry to come!
