Megabangna invites brave minds to join a bone-chilling mission during "Mega Ghost Festival: Haunted Prison" at the Mega Plaza on the first floor, from Friday until Oct 31.
Held to celebrate Halloween, the festival presents a replica of a haunted prison, which comes with a scary story that it is inhabited by ghostly spirits looking for a replacement in order to break free from the prison.
The fictional prison is divided into eight zones, each of which is spooky in its own way. All participants will be handcuffed and chained and treated as prisoners. They are required to go through all the eight zones and join all the spooky activities. Finally, they will have to find a way out in order to win prizes worth more than 100,000 baht.
To challenge brave minds to enter this ghostly jail, a movie titled Haunted Prison, produced especially for this occasion, will be screened. Directed by Kritmongkol Pienthong of Na Dao Bangkok, the movie stars Jirayu "Got" Tantrakul, David Asavanond, Nutthasit "Best" Kositmanuswanich and Supitcha "Jomjam" Subanpong.
The mission is open to everyone older than 13 years, from noon until 10pm. The fee is 250 baht per person (100 baht for students).
