STEM action at Bothwell Primary School

Bothwell Primary are kicking off our first Class Acts feature of the new school term.

The youngsters had a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) day during which all the classes took part in a variety of learning-based challenges.

Visiting ambassadors from Thales, an engineering company who create advanced technology systems, popped by to help promote STEM skills to the children.

The launch took place at a school assembly in the morning and then pupils were split into groups to undertake challenges based on engineering processes.

And the school ended the day with a closing assembly to recognise the ‘STEM Stars’ with certificates and acknowledge all of the future engineers.

If you would like to see your school featured in our Class Acts feature, then call reporter Kirsten McStay on 01698 205202 or alternatively email her at kirsten.mcstay@reachplc.com and she will get back in touch with all the details that we need.
