A Steger man was killed Saturday after crashing his vehicle in south suburban Chicago Heights.
The 37-year-old’s Jeep Wrangler was involved in a crash with a box truck about 6:25 a.m. in the 2900 block of State Street, Chicago Heights police said.
The man was rushed to Franciscan Health in Dyer, Indiana, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, the Lake County coroner’s office said.
An autopsy said the man died of blunt force trauma, according to the coroner’s office. His death was ruled an accident.
