Stefon Diggs just set the Vikings record for most yards in a 3-game stretch

The beginning of the season was rocky for the Vikings offense and wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

The last three games have been the opposite.

Over the last three games, Diggs has 452 receiving yards, a new record for most receiving yards over a three-game stretch in team history.

More importantly, the Vikings are 3-0 in that stretch and have improved to 6-2 overall.

In Thursday night’s 19-9 win over the Redskins, Diggs finished with seven catches on seven targets for 143 yards.

“That’s just a special player who can run by somebody and make a great catch,” Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins said after the game. “He’s very, very talented.”

It’s Diggs’ third-straight 100-yard game and fourth in his last five games. In his fist three games of the seasons, Diggs had just 101 receiving yards combined.

Diggs is on pace for 74 catches for a career-high 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns. How things change so quickly in the NFL.
