Stefon Diggs Jokes About Throwing Pro Bowl Interception to Brother Trevon

Stefon Diggs may want to consider avoiding the family group chat over the next week after ending up on the wrong end of a highlight-reel interception by younger brother Trevon Diggs during the Pro Bowl Games on Sunday.

Diggs’s pick came during the second of three flag football games at Allegiant Stadium on a trick play that saw Stefon, 29, haul in a pitch from Trevor Lawrence before attempting a no-look pass to the Jaguars quarterback in the end zone. As Diggs threw the ball, however, Trevon, 24, leaped into the air to snag the ball and nearly turned in a pick-six before getting ran out of bounds by his older brother.

After the game, Stefon hopped on Twitter to respond to the play and tried to play it off by attributing his turnover to the now-infamous viral “NFL games are scripted” conspiracy theory that blew up over the past week.

“I was just following the script,” the Bills receiver joked in response to the idea of losing family bragging rights to Trevon.

Aside from Trevon’s big pick, the Cowboys cornerback also earned another advantage over Stefon after his NFC squad left Las Vegas as the victors of the inaugural event. Needless to say, the well-documented sibling rivalry between the Diggs brothers appears to be alive and well following their latest showdown on the gridiron, with Trevon besting Stefon with a win and play that will likely be talked about at all Diggs family gatherings for at least the next year.
