Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster youngest player to 2,500 receiving yards in NFL history

Lost among all the drama of Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks was the achievement by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. The talented young wide receiver finished the game with 84 receiving yards on five receptions.

This gave Smith-Schuster 2,505 career receiving yards and making him the youngest player in NFL history to ever reach that mark. Through two games in 2019 Smith-Schuster has 11 receptions for 162 yards.

Smith-Schuster had a breakout season in 2018 when he finished with 111 receptions for 1,426 receiving yards. These were best on the team. Now Smith-Schuster is learning to adjust to life as the team’s top receiving option this season.

Smith-Schuster is currently on pace to finish 2019 with 88 receptions for 1,296 receiving yards.
