NFL Films made a wise choice on Monday night when they decided to mic up Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. In fact a case could be made Smith-Schuster should be mic’d up every week. But even getting him for one week gave everyone a closer look at just why he’s such a tremendous teammate.
Smith-Schuster has gotten off to a slow start this season. After catching 111 passes in 2018, Smith-Schuster only has 17 receptions through four games this season. But as you can see from this video, he’s not going to pout or complain if he doesn’t get his numbers. He’s going to continue to lift up his teammates (sometimes literally) and make sure the energy stays high.
