Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is a ‘big fan’ of cracking

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a left knee injury Week 11 at the Cleveland Browns. When he returned for the final two games of the season, he wasn’t quite the same.

Smith-Schuster decided to do something about it.

As usual, Smith-Schuster has been active on his Instagram page. From the looks of videos and photos posted, he appears to be in some of the best shape of his career. The third-year receiver works out daily — sometimes twice — between fieldwork, cardio, and weights.

Smith-Schuster attributes some of his recent wellness success to his sessions with Dr. Jason Worrall, a Los Angeles-based chiropractor. He sees the doctor three times a week for assessments and ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) adjustment, better known as cracking.

“The ASMR cracking — big fan of that,” said Smith-Schuster in an interview with Dr. Worrall.

“I had a PCL strain that held me back last season. I was out for five weeks. Also, I got a concussion during the same hit.”

“Literally after that, coming in and seeing [Dr. Worrall], there’s so much more to my body that I can improve on.”

“I thought it was just my knee. Once I got my back cracked and my neck cracked, ohhh, I’m gucci just to walk up out of here. Nah. We just did an hour of assessment of studying my body.”

Smith-Schuster has been spending more time studying how to better improve his health and wellness, which should greatly benefit his on-field production in 2020.

This video will take you through a session with Smith-Schuster and Dr. Worrall
