Throughout his NFL career, I have tried to be impartial to how Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster lived his life. But this one is pretty tough to justify. This TikTok video of Smith-Schuster was shared on Twitter showing Smith-Schuster doing the crate challenge just a week before the start of the regular season.
If you don’t know what the crate challenge is, it is essentially a dangerous task of climbing a stack of milk crates. All you have to do is a quick search and you will see person after person falling and injuring themselves. Replies to these videos have been mixed but for the most part, fans aren’t happy with this one.
This isn’t dancing on an opponent’s logo before the game or doing the Smeeze in the locker room. This is risky and I hope this is just a case of Smith-Schuster not thinking about it rather than not caring that he could seriously hurt himself a week before the start of the regular season.
