Steelers WR Antonio Brown’s attorney releases statement

The Pittsburgh Steelers would love to just focus on football. But for the time being, they are still having to sift through another round of drama, which it seems wide receiver Antonio Brown is doing his best to get out ahead of. Brown’s attorney released a statement on Friday that laid out details of the wideout’s recent domestic dispute as well as the events leading up to it.

You can read the full statement below courtesy of ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler.

According to the attorney, Jaclyn Soroka, the incident involved money. The mother of Brown’s daughter wanted more in child support, and Brown didn’t feel an obligation to give it to her. Ultimately the court will decide what is best for Brown’s daughter.

The Steelers released a statement about the incident when it was first reported as they were waiting for more information. Hopefully this will be a big step in putting all this behind Brown before the start of the league year.
