No NFL player loves attention quite like Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. On Wednesday, he took to Instagram to ask his followers which city he should play in next.
I’m not sure Brown understands how any of this works. If the Steelers do decide to trade him, they will be the ones who choose his next landing spot. Because Brown is still under contract with Pittsburgh, he has no leverage in picking his next team. It could ultimately come down to which team gives the Steelers the best offer.
But in the big picture, this is more about Brown’s state of mind. Is he posting all this because the team has agreed to trade him and just hasn’t been made public? Or is this just another example of Brown assuming he’s going to get exactly what he wants despite being the creator of the mess he’s in?
