Steelers welcome Foster Moreau and Charles Omenihu for pre-draft visits

The Pittsburgh Steelers brought in two more players on Tuesday as part of their 30 pre-draft visits. Bob Labriola of the team’s official site reported on Twitter LSU tight end Foster Moreau and Texas defensive end Charles Omenihu were in Pittsburgh to meet with the team.

Omenihu has a powerful physique with long limbs and a frame to hold more muscle. And at 280 pounds he would need to beef up if he wants to play a five-technique in the Steelers defense. Realistically, if Pittsburgh wants Omenihu he could be had in the fourth or fifth round.

Moreau is a guy who seems to be getting a lot of hype right now but the film doesn’t really back it up. A willing blocker, Moreau doesn’t offer much in terms of being a dynamic passing option. Considering how high he’s being projected, it feels like the Steelers could make better use of a pick on day two.
