Steelers vs Titans: Oklahoma State connection extends Pittsburgh lead

Even though Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger only played less than a quarter against the Tennessee Titans, it doesn’t look like the Steelers offense is going to slow down. On the next offensive possession, after Roethlisberger hit JuJu Smith-Schuster on a 17-yard touchdown pass, Mason Rudolph hits James Washington for a 41-yard score.

Rudolph and Washington were one of the most prolific tandems in college football before both joining the Steelers via the 2018 NFL draft. Washington is having a very strong preseason and looks like the favorite to start opposite Smith-Schuster. Meanwhile, Rudolph is battling Joshua Dobbs for the backup quarterback spot. Rudolph has looked great in the preseason and could be the Steelers quarterback of the future.
