It would appear that disaster have been averted for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. The team released their inactives for Sunday’s game with the Seattle Seahawks and neither center Maurkice Pouncey or cornerback Joe Haden made the list. Both were listed as questionable for today’s game.
Rookie cornerback Justin Layne is inactive indicating some level of confidence the Steelers’ coaches have in Haden to stay healthy today and the depth behind him with guys like Artie Burns and Cam Sutton if he cannot.
The Steelers will also only dress two tight ends for today’s game which is something of a surprise with fullback Roosevelt Nix out. Don’t look for a lot of power football in the run game.
