Steelers vs Ravens: Final injury update and game status report

When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, there a chance they could be without three key starters. Pittsburgh put out their final practice report of the week with the game status report and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, linebacker Vince Williams and tight end Vance McDonald are all listed as questionable. In addition, fullback Roosevelt Nix and linebacker Anthony Chickillo are out again this week.

If Smith-Schuster can’t go it’ll be a combination of James Washington and Donte Moncrief opposite Diontae Johnson. We really hope to see more Washington this week as a security blanket for Mason Rudolph.

McDonald missed last week’s game and was replaced in the starting lineup by Nick Vannett. Vannett had two catches and did a fine job blocking downfield.

It seems the inclusion of Williams on the report is merely procedural. He was removed from the injury report on Tuesday and has been a full participant all week. It will be interesting to see how the Steelers manage a three-man inside linebacker rotation against the run-heavy Ravens.
