Steelers vs Patriots: 4 bold predictions for this week’s game

We’ve gotten to the point that we worry about giving the Pittsburgh Steelers the benefit of the doubt on anything when it comes to any sort of optimistic predictions. Nevertheless I’m going to try and the Steelers look to bounce back this Thursday night against the 2-10 New England Patriots.

The Steelers are hobbled and starting a backup quarterback but we have to believe head coach Mike Tomlin will keep his streak up of not losing back-to-back games this week. Last week’s loss was a wake-up call and they don’t underestimate the Patriots like they did the Cardinals.

One thing Kenny Pickett has done well this season is not turn the football over. It also means he doesn’t throw for many yards. We predict Trubisky to dump both of those on their head with a big game throwing the football but some turnovers to go with it.

With Najee Harris dealing with a knee injury, we predict the Steelers rushing offense gets handed over to Jaylen Warren, who tops 100 yards for the second time this season.

He will probably get held 10 times but Watt will still find a way to get to the Patriots quarterback, whoever it may be, two times on Thursday night.
