Steelers vs Dolphins injury update: Several players hurt in win

The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled to 3-4 after their big win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday night. But it came at a cost. Head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media after the game and went over the injuries the Steelers suffered.

Pittsburgh got hit hard at running back. Benny Snell Jr. was hurt in the game in the second half, leaving James Conner to shoulder the load at running back. This was made worse because the Steelers were playing with a lead and wanted to grind it out and run the clock. Very late in the game Conner went down hard on his shoulder and suffered when Tomlin called an AC joint injury.

In addition, starting left guard Ramon Foster suffered a concussion and is in the protocol. Going back to running back, if Conner and/or Snell can’t go against the Indianapolis Colts, the Steelers would do well to bring in an experienced veteran free agent as insurance on the depth chart.
