Steelers vs Dolphins: 2 linebackers questionable against Miami

When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins Monday night they will be as healthy as they’ve been since the start of the season. The team put out its game status report and only three players made the list. Linebackers Mark Barron and Ulysees Gilbert III are both listed as questionable as well as running back Jaylen Samuels.

If Barron cannot go, it’ll be a full load for Vince Williams and Devin Bush on the inside. Honestly this defense is probably better with Barron on the sidelines as several guys in the secondary including Cam Sutton and Minkah Fitzpatrick have really stepped up.

Samuels is another matter. He’s less than a month out from knee surgery. His recovery has been nothing short of remarkable but I’m not sure he needs to play against the winless Dolphins if he isn’t 100 percent. Pittsburgh has plenty of firepower in the backfield with James Conner and Benny Snell Jr. so you’d hope Pittsburgh doesn’t feel any sense of urgency to get him back on the field this week.
