Steelers vs Colts injury update: Steelers RB depth chart in shambles

The news is out about the game status for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the news is bad. When Pittsburgh takes on the Indianapolis Colts this week, they will do so with a hobbled and broken run game.

Starting running back James Conner is listed as doubtful, which is as good as saying he’s out. And third-string running back Benny Snell is out with a knee injury. This means the bulk of the rushing attempts will fall on the shoulders of Jaylen Samuels. He’s only a month out from knee surgery himself but says he’s 100 percent.

To add to the problems fullback Roosevelt Nix is listed as questionable as he backslid some in his full recovery from knee surgery and starting left guard Ramon Foster is out with a concussion.

If there was ever a game for the Steelers passing game to get on track it is this one. And this will be still another game when the defense will have to step up and make some plays.
