It seems every week we are wondering which new face will step up for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the nature of the game when you are dealing with injuries and this week will be no different. The Steelers continue to hold onto a playoff spot despite playing without any of their top skill players on offense. Which guys will step up this week against Arizona?
WR Tevin Jones
Jones has bided his time on the practice squad and is finally getting his shot. It is hard to have expectations too high but with Devlin Hodges getting his third start it’s great Jones is starting to come into his own. We have seen Hodges and James Washington find their chemistry and this week we are counting on more from Jones as well.
RB Jaylen Samuels

The run game has been taken over by Benny Snell Jr. but we can’t forget about Samuels and what he brings to the offense. I’d love to see Samuels and Snell in the backfield together and let Samuels be a weapon in the passing game for Hodges this week.
QB Devlin Hodges

This one might seem obvious but hear me out. The Cardinals have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. If there was ever a week for offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner to open up the offensive playbook for Hodges, it’s this one. Let’s be honest, Mason Rudolph isn’t getting his job down unless something catastrophic happens but Hodges isn’t going to beat the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore with the types of statistical performances he’s had in his two previous starts.
