The Pittsburgh Steelers released their inactives for Thursday’s game with the Cleveland Browns and there are a few surprises on the list. The Steelers will be without backup outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo as well as backup offensive tackle Chuks Okorafor. Okorafor was the starting right tackle just last week and didn’t appear on the injury report.
Perhaps more surprising is that wide receiver Tevin Jones and linebacker Jayrone Elliott are both active. The signing of these two players was just announced over an hour ago. They’ve had no preparation time for this game so you have to wonder what they offer that a guy like cornerback Justin Layne or defensive lineman L.T. Walton didn’t.
