No one really knew what to expect from the Pittsburgh Steelers this season. There was optimism about the return of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger but it wasn’t until they got on the field on Monday night that everyone saw the Steelers were back.
This week, the Steelers are coming back home to take on the Denver Broncos after a big win; Denver is coming off a loss to the Titans. The oddsmakers at BetMGM took note and have the Steelers at seven-point home favorites.
Typically this is where we would talk about the home-field advantage the Steelers enjoy over their opponents. But with Heinz Field being empty, all bets are off as far as an edge goes. Nevertheless, I tend to agree with the oddsmakers that this is Pittsburgh’s game to lose.
