There was some improvement with Saturday’s practice report for the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the team not playing until Monday night, the urgency of being available on Friday is lessened some. Saturday will be the telling practice as to which injured Steelers will be able to go against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The big news here is Haden was back and a full participant. We don’t expect linebackers Vince Williams and Anthony Chickillo to play Monday and it seems less likely tight end Vance McDonald will be about to go at full strength. But given the Steelers’ issues at the tight end position, he might be thrust into action ahead of schedule.
