This week we will see what the Pittsburgh Steelers are really made of. After going out of their way to purge the roster of distractions to try to focus on football. Unfortunately, through two games the team is winless and in complete disarray. This week the Steelers take on the San Francisco 49ers and here are our five bold predictions for this week’s game.
Mason Rudolph throws for 300 yards
The Steelers defense isn’t quite ready to slow the 49ers down so this game could turn into a shootout. Rudolph plays with confidence and has the confidence of his teammates which gives him a huge game in his first start.
No Steelers running back rushes for 100 yards

We are not prepared to give offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner the credit for creating a balanced gameplan. So we don’t look for the Steelers to suddenly generate a serviceable run game. So even if James Conner is healthy, don’t be shocked if he’s held under 100 yards again.
James Washington catches two touchdowns

If Rudolph is going to have a big game it is going to be because he connects with his favorite target. Rudolph and Washington were practically unstoppable in college and now form a new tandem in the NFL. Rudolph has supreme confidence in Washington and is going to target him early and often.
Pittsburgh finally gets an interception

Through two games the Pittsburgh secondary still hasn’t found a way to generate an interception. This is despite having multiple first-round picks in the starting lineup. But we are calling for them to get off the snide this week thanks to the addition of safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Devin Bush tops 10 tackles

Bush has been a big slow out of the gate but still leads the team with 18 total tackles in two games. But we are calling for a breakout game this week as Vince Williams doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to play. We are predicting more than 10 but a number like 15 isn’t out of the question.
