Steelers to add TE Alize Mack to practice squad

The Steelers are signing TE Alize Mack to their practice squad. Played at Notre Dame and was a seventh round.pick by the Saints, who cut him last week.

With tight end Vance McDonald walking around with his arm in the sling, the Pittsburgh Steelers had to do something. Steelers beat writer Ray Fittipaldo is reporting the Steelers have signed Alize Mack to their practice squad.

McDonald’s injury means the Steelers will take on the Cincinnati Bengals with Xavier Grimble and Zach Gentry on the gameday roster. Mack started his career as a seventh-round pick of the New Orleans Saints. The Saints released Mack on September 20 and now joins the Steelers.
