Steelers tight end Ladarius Green did not practice Friday, and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin listed him as questionable for the AFC wild-card game against the Dolphins Sunday afternoon.
"He's in the protocol," Tomlin said after the Steelers went through their final practice of the week. "Part of the protocol is practice. He practiced (Thursday). We didn't get the type of results we wanted. He remains in the protocol. His status for the game is questionable."
Green sustained a concussion in the Dec. 18 game in Cincinnati and missed the final two games of the regular season. He went through two full practices Wednesday and Thursday.
Green has a long history with concussions and head injuries. He missed games when he was in San Diego with what he described as "sinus" problems. He also had to start this season on the physically unable to perform list because of recurring headaches during training camp.
Green came off the PUP list after six games. He played in six games before getting concussed against the Bengals. He had 18 receptions for 304 yards and one touchdown.
