Steelers swap practice squad defensive backs

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a pair of roster moves on Tuesday. According to the team, they are releasing defensive back Trevon Mathis from the practice squad. In his place, the team is signing defensive back Alexander Myres.

Myres was originally an undrafted free agent signing of the Steelers just after the draft. He remained on the roster until July 31 when he was released in order to make room for wide receiver Brandon Reilly. Myres played his college football at the University of Houston.
