Steelers sign WR Anthony Miller to 1-year contract

On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced they had signed receiver Anthony Miller to a one-year contract. Miller spent most of the 2021 season on the Steelers practice squad. The team placed him on IR with a shoulder injury in August of 2022, costing him the entire 2022 season.

It isn’t clear if Miller figures into the team’s future plans but the former second-round pick did flash some skills prior to his injury. Miller was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears where he enjoyed initial success with current Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky throwing him the football.
