Steelers sign QB Ben Roethlisberger to new contract

According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers and starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have agreed to a new contract assuring Big Ben will be with the team in 2021.

Roethlisberger and the Steelers were going to have to work to get Roethlisberger’s $41-million salary cap hit down in order for him to return. This team is certainly better with Roethlisberger on it and if the two sides have been able to meet in the middle somewhere to allow the team to retain and build with as much talent as possible for the future and have the future Hall of Famer back for at least one more season.
