Steelers sign former AAF defensive lineman Casey Sayles

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed another free agent via the former AAF. This time around though it is a guy the team already knows. The Steelers announced on Tuesday they would be signing defensive lineman Casey Sayles.

Sayles spent the 2018 training camp with the Steelers but was released before the start of the season. He was a member of the Birmingham Iron during the short AAF tenure but now rejoins the Steelers.

The Steelers defensive line depth is solid so making the team won’t be easy. Pittsburgh has Cam Heyward, Stephon Tuitt, Javon Hargrave and Tyson Alualu as the primary four-man rotation. Sayles played his college ball at Ohio University.
