Steelers roll $4.9 million of 2020 salary cap into 2021

Few teams handle the salary cap better than the Pittsburgh Steelers. But a few seasons of robbing Peter to pay Paul things have finally caught up to the Steelers. It is still unclear what the 2021 salary cap will be but regardless, Pittsburgh will be one of the teams starting the offseason in a serious negative.

There is one piece of good news. According to NFL reporter Field Yates, the Steelers will carry over almost $5 million from the 2020 salary cap. Here’s how the teams ranked in terms of carryover for the upcoming offseason. The Steelers have a long list of free agents they need to make decisions about and very little money to spend.
