The Pittsburgh Steelers made a conscious effort to be a player in free agency this offseason. Pittsburgh brought in multiple players to replace guys in hopes of upgrading on either side of the football. The Steelers are known for letting their bottom-tier free agents test the market and if they don’t sign elsewhere can serve as a backup plan in case of a significant injury somewhere.
