Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell attempts to elicit sympathy on Twitter

The countdown to the end of Le’Veon Bell’ tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers started last season. And it now seems to be just a couple of months away. But this won’t stop Bell from doing his best to play the victim card a few more times on his way out the door. Bell took to Twitter to pine about being appreciated and the replies to the tweet were exactly what you’d expect.

It is important to understand what Bell is saying here. When he usees the word appreciate, the only thing this can mean is money. When Bell was actually playing for the Steelers he was adored by the fans. Support from the city was never in short supply, even when he got himself suspended two seasons in a row.

But for Bell, it’s pretty clear he equates his personal value to the balance in his bank account. Not judging anyone for it. Live your life. But reaching out to his followers in hopes of getting them to feel bad because he doesn’t feel like he’s rich enough might not get the result he’s hoping for.
