Steelers RB James Conner wants to promote ‘togetherness and unity’

Many NFL players have spoken out in recent days about the impact of the death of Geoge Floyd and how this tragic event can be used as a springboard for positive change. One of those players is Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner.

On a video, Conner spoke about the need for hope at this time as opposed to more negativity from those wanting change.

“We need change. I think, cliche as it sounds, that starts with hope,” Conner says. “To teach their kids about unity and togetherness and how we’re stronger together.”

Many Steelers players have spoken publicly about the tragedy and we are going to be curious to see what happens once the regular season gets started.
