Just when you thought no other Pittsburgh Steelers could get hurt there had to be one more. Steelers’ sideline reporter Missi Matthews announced during the radio broadcast that starting running back James Conner is questionable to return with a knee injury. Matthews indicated he was on the sideline with ice on his knee.
With Conner hurt, Jaylen Samuels will take the bulk of the snaps at running back. The Steelers are already playing without multiple starters including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and linebacker Vince Williams.
